When the church of Jesus Christ works together in unity, people are attracted and opportunities to display the love of Christ and share the good news result.  Earlier in August, New Life Church partnered with Cross Point Church in Howell, NJ to host a fun, summer activity on the front lawn of the Toms River church.  Pastor Jaime Cortez (Spanish Ministries Pastor at Cross Point) has a desire to plant a Spanish Church and that day he was able to speak to everyone who stopped by with their children to enjoy the popcorn, bouncy houses, face painting, and food.  Without advertising and simply by word of mouth, 20-30 children (or more) and their parents or grandparents were able to see Jesus’ love at work, hear the gospel message, and receive an invitation to connect with Jesus’ followers.  Pray for Pastor Jaime and those who work with him in taking the gospel to the Hispanic community.
