At VCN Mid-Atlantic, affiliation is more than just connection—it’s a shared commitment to multiply transformational churches, develop spiritually healthy leaders, and engage communities with the love of Christ. By affiliating with our network, churches and leaders become part of a supportive, like-minded community that shares resources, wisdom, and mission. Together, we uphold core values and benefit from collaborative efforts that foster growth, health, and multiplication for churches across the region. Steps to Affiliate:

  1. Read VCN Mid-Atlantic’s What We Believe and How We Operate under the About Us menu.
  2. If you are in agreement and can wholeheartedly endorse the statements in our Statement of Faith, complete an Affiliation Application Form. Be sure to complete both sides of the form, including references.
  3. Submit your application, along with a copy of your church’s Constitution and Bylaws, by regular mail to: VCN Mid-Atlantic, PO Box 345 Clayton, NJ 08312 … or by email to: [email protected].
  4. If approved, the VCN Mid-Atlantic Board will present your church or individual name to our constituency during the next Annual Meeting. This Annual Meeting is held once a year in the spring. Notification of final approval and a packet of materials will then be sent to you.
  5. Affiliation with VCN Mid-Atlantic is for an undetermined length of time. If approved, we anticipate a long and fruitful relationship as we unite together in a common purpose to fulfill the Great Commission.

1.  Cluster Groups – Monthly sub-regional groups for pastoral connection, mentoring, coaching and encouragement.

2.  MERG Gatherings – Monthly/bi-monthly gatherings rotating around the region featuring experts – or gurus – in selected areas of ministry expertise. These half-day events are conducted in different locations to allow access for local pastors/leaders without unreasonable travel demands.

3.  Annual May Regional Gathering – Once a year region-wide 2½ day gathering for connection, encouragement and selected ministry-focused mentoring by guest speaker

How We Operate

Every believer at salvation through faith in Jesus Christ enters into a covenant relationship with God, and is placed into covenant community with all true believers, known as the body of Christ. Local churches represent specific covenant communities, of which each believer is to be an active part. In turn, VCN Mid-Atlantic is a voluntary association of autonomous local churches representing the body of Christ in covenant community with one another.

THE COVENANT OF THE CHURCHES OF VCN MID-ATLANTIC

The association of churches known as VCN Mid-Atlantic, as part of the body of Christ, acknowledges our God-ordained covenantal relationships as a fellowship of Venture Church Network churches. Holding in common our doctrine, polity, and philosophy of ministry, we agree to a relationship expressed in dependence upon, responsibility for, and accountability to each other by God’s grace. VCN Mid-Atlantic also seeks covenant community with other regional VCN communities throughout North America and around the world through CB Global.

As an association of Venture Church Network in the Mid-Atlantic region and in the presence of our Lord, we covenant to partner with our fellow VCN Mid-Atlantic churches in order to…

  • Treat each other with love and grace as we seek to honor the many biblical “one-anothers” of Christian fellowship.
  • Minister to each other by sharing our strengths and resources so that church leaders can be strengthened for kingdom purposes.
  • Encourage churches to pursue maturity with the goal of fulfilling the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
  • Partner together as an ethnically diverse association of churches committed to honoring and respecting one another.
  • Work together to establish new churches.
  • Embrace partnership and cooperation in ministry with an attitude that facilitates regional unity, shared vision, networking, and celebration.
  • Identify, train, and empower current and future church leaders.
  • Develop relationships with other evangelical ministries to assist our churches in fulfilling their God-given vision and mission.
  • Support the ministry of VCN Mid-Atlantic with our prayers, finances, talents, and time.
  • Uphold the VCN Mid-Atlantic Statement of Faith (herein referred to as “Doctrine”) to which we subscribe.
