At 280 years old, Manahawkin Baptist Church is one of two of our oldest continuously meeting congregations.  Presently, the church is in its third building (the other two structures are still in use and re-purposed), and within the past 3 years has undergone fresh, extensive renovations to both interior and exterior spaces.  The result is a tasteful and attractive environment in which to do Kingdom ministry.  The pictures don’t do justice to these new inviting premises and spaces.

Senior Pastor Lee Smith (called in 2021) oversees a capable staff of 8 dedicated people.  Ike Jones, part-time Director of Discipleship since 2023, has just been moved to full-time status with the additional position as Facilities Manager.  As with other staff, his portfolio is varied and necessary.  

This is a vibrant, growing church with a great energy and effective biblical teaching.

Not bad for 280 years old!  May this church enjoy God’s blessing and best for many more generations!
