COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Never before have events in the news confirmed the Biblical prophecies about wars and upheaval in the Middle East.  Many of these prophecies were dismissed as allegorical a century ago, but it’s nearly impossible to deny the significance of the dramatic rebirth of Israel with the Middle East a background for world powers.

At the same time Christians are confused with conflicting claims, with popular social commentators spreading misinformation and stirring up bigotry.

This MERG event aims to lay out the basic dispute.  We will outline the various views held by believers and suggest a biblical balance, while we await the return of Messiah Jesus to set up His promised kingdom.

Mottel Baleston is a Jewish believer in Messiah Jesus, a veteran outreach worker to his Jewish community serving with Missions Door (part of the extended Venture Church Network family of ministries).  He has lived and studied in Jerusalem, and is in regular contact with dozens of believers in Israel.
